A Queensland mother and TikTok creator, Raven Bianca Buck, has pled guilty to laundering GST refunds that her former boyfriend fraudulently claimed.
In court, it was revealed that he claimed $151,000 from the Australian Taxation Office through false business activity statements, with the attempt to defraud $700,000 more. Buck knowingly received $48,000 of this money over 13 separate bank transfers, and spent $25,000 of this on expensive jewellery and cars.
Buck received an 18-month suspended jail sentence.
