This guide is for Commonwealth officials working in risk, integrity and governance areas. It includes practical strategies, aligned to the Commonwealth Fraud and Corruption Control Framework, to help you integrate the management of corruption risk into your entity’s broader organisational risk management frameworks and policies. Implementing these strategies will help you to effectively oversee and manage risks of corruption and apply a consistent and co-ordinated approach to managing risk across your entity.

The guide can also help you when completing the Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) Fraud and Corruption Against the Commonwealth census.

We developed the guide in consultation with the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).

You may wish to read this guide alongside our information sheets and the NACC’s fact sheets.
